My name is Andy Morris. I am currently the acting-editor of Maybourne Magazine, the luxury title for the hotel group (Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Riviera, The Maybourne Beverly Hills). I also freelance for Soho House, 1Journal and Burlington’s Magazine.

Before the onset of COVID-19, I was the editor of High Life, the British Airways magazine read by 3.9 million passengers every month. Over the past two years High Life cover stars have included Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Louis Theroux, Sir David Attenborough, Kacey Musgraves, Karen Elson, Gugu MBatha-Raw, Gemma Chan, Sophie Turner, Anthony Joshua and Dave Grohl.

I was responsible for overseeing the most commercially successful single issue in the magazine’s history (BA’s 100th anniversary edition in August 2019). Nicci Pordage, our primary client, said of the issue: “Andy has created a magazine so special that customers keep taking them off the planes! The BA 100 issue was the perfect way of marking the brand’s anniversary and the highlight of another excellent year.”

I previously spent ten years working for British GQ in London (including four years as editor of GQ.co.uk) and spent 12 months as the editor of Gigwise, a leading independent music site. I also recently spend 12 months working on Spherelife.com as editor.

I have considerable experience of writing and securing interviews, both inside and outside of junkets and conducted both on and off camera.

I have written advertorial and promotional copy for American Express, Acqua Di Parma, Bentley, Club Med, Diesel, Hattingley Valley, Intel, Tudor Watches and Vice.

I have appeared as a guest on both A Badge Of Friendship and Joey Page's radio shows on FUBAR Radio.
